I know, I know. I got behind. With finals and moving home and other things I really haven't taken too many pictures. I'll start back up when I can. But you faithful readers should know: I don't have internet at home, so the posts may be few and far between.

Well, it had to happen sometime. This picture was taken with my new old camera. I used black and white film. Thanks to the person who suggested this picture (you know who you are). :)

This is just outside the door of my dorm. Sorry it's so boring. I didn't take very many pictures to choose from.

My dorm room has this interesting ceiling light. I thought it might look cool, so you have to suffer and look at it. Oh the power of the blogger. :)

Ok, so file this under "weird and abstract". Can you guess what it is? Correct! Not only is bubble wrap the coolest thing to pop, but it's also fun to take pictures of. Who knew?

Ok, so I said I'd cut back on pictures of myself, but for lack of time I present this double self-portrait. It's not nearly as cool as Norman Rockwell's triple, but it'll do.

This is my new camera that I got in the mail today. It's a Kodak Retina Reflex from 1957-58. The first roll of film is in it and will hopefully be developed tomorrow. Who knows? you might be seeing one of those pictures sometime soon.

unclear

I was driving and took this picture, knowing that it wouldn't be crisp or sharp - it's not supposed to be. I thought the bright yellow and white on the road was neat, especially where the lines start together but blur out into the distance. It's eerily metaphoric for certain parts of my life right now.

I was awake early on Saturday and took this picture. I love the sky. If I had more time I would look for a better foreground, but I like the building shapes.

I'm trying to avoid self-portraits, but this one was a little artsy. Plus, I didn't have much of a selection of photos from this day. I promise to cut back on the pictures of myself.

So I was sitting in my room and looking out the window. An intermural soccor game was going on just outside. I thought the lights looked cool and decided to shoot in black and white.

There's always something behind the shell. Sure you may only want to see the keys, but nothing would work without the hammers and strings.

Besides being a cloudy, dull, no-cool-photos-of-the-sky day, today was also a "try to write a song" day. Unless you are one of a very few people, I doubt you'll ever get to hear this song. But the picture looks alright at least.

This is the hallway in my dorm. Not very creative, but a start. I'll get a better one tomorrow. Promise.

0 and counting

In this blog I will be taking one picture a day. These shots will be random. They may be weird. They may not look perfect. But they'll always be here. In case anyone checks out this blog periodically, don't be concerned if I don't post over a weekend. They'll be there on Monday.

Also, watch out. I may feel the need to write something to compliment my photo. Or I may not. It will be an adventure. The first shot will be posted later today.

PS If you have any ideas on what I should shoot a picture of, feel free to give suggestions.
